Following the wettest December-February on record, serious groundwater flooding affected many parts of southern Britain particularly in areas underlain by Chalk. Hydro-GIS Ltd has been providing advice to property owners on how best to alleviate against groundwater flooding. In addition Hydro-GIS Ltd has been developing a more strategic groundwater flood risk mapping tool for use in the insurance sector.
